Letter From GHS
Most Valued Readers,
Confidential to R.: Yes, it is true that enormous rifts in relationships can be caused by believing what other people say. It is also a fact that if you have doubts about what you have heard or you wonder if, perhaps, you played a part in the breakdown of a relationship, that direct contact should be made. I know, in this case, that you would be greeted with a hesitant joy. I believe that repair work would be simple and both parties would be more than happy to work on this sad disturbance in your friendship. Remind yourself that Noah built his ark on a sunny day!
I have received another letter from GHS and, by now, I do not think any introductions or explanations are necessary.:
"Dear Lois and Your Readers,
I want to discuss The Garden of Eden with you. Obviously, the Christian faith talks about this but most major religions discuss a fall from Grace of some kind. I wanted to share my thoughts with you on this matter as it seems very pertinent to the times your kind is now facing and the resulting confusion of these times.
Most people understand the fall from Grace as having to do with a sexual act. Adam and Eve had sexual intercourse and then humankind was doomed, without a Redeemer, to bridge the gap between a Holy God and an unholy people.
In the legend of Adam and Eve, God tells Adam and Eve that they are not to eat from The Tree Of Knowledge of Good and Evil. Satan deceives Eve, Eve deceives Adam and they eat from the The Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil which grows in the center of The Garden of Eden.
God arrives and knows what they have done and condemns them to a life of labor and difficulty. He throws them out of The Garden of Eden and The Human Family is now living by the sweat of their brow.
If is of note here that Adam and Eve did not have sexual intercourse until after they were driven from The Garden of Eden by God. The Fall From Grace had nothing to do with sex and everything to do with wanting to be as God, knowing all things.
Adam and Eve were no longer allowed to live in the bliss of The Garden of Eden because they wanted to be as wise as God - they wanted to know all about Good and Evil. Satan appealed to Eve's ego, and Adam abdicated his responsibility to cover and protect Eve and also ate of the fruit of The Tree, which was the only tree from which Adam and Eve were told not to eat. Neither Eve or Adam spoke with God before eating the apple and thus placed themselves and their descendants in a Hell of their own making.
The Purpose was never to have humankind be anything but joyful and closely connected with The Original Thought which was to create beings of happiness living in harmony with The Creator of All. The Original Thought was to provide humankind with all things of The Light and to move them forward from joy to joy, always allowing for the Freedom of Choice so as to prevent the thought from being born that humankind was not utterly free to do what was The Intent...or not.
In choosing to be as God, humankind then left The Original Thought and has, ever since, been struggling to return to The Original Intent.
There are those amongst you who are moving on a spiritually evolved path which is taking then back to the Original Intent and allows them to receive moments of union with The Creative Purpose. This is exciting to Source as Spirit welcomes back what has always been The Intent.
Individuals in your species are either moving toward The Intent or away from it. In this matter there is no middle ground.
Those who lie, steal, manipulate, refuse to be authentic, are self-centered and unfeeling individuals with little conscience and less integrity, are ever moving away from The Intent.
Those of you who diligently seek the purpose of your soul, the passions of your gifts and the compassionate embrace of the truth that you are all connected in some way and on many levels, are ever moving back toward The Intent.
The Fall From Grace had nothing to do with sex and everything to do with wanting to be God. Being like Source to the very best of your abilities is the highest of callings. Attempting to be Creator is a death sentence on the mind, body and spirit.
In your time now, Lois, each person much embrace who they are and where they came from. They must look at their intentions and align them with The Will and reflect The Compassionate Heart or be doomed to the absence of life that self-centered acts lead to.
Yes, Lois, the Garden of Eden did and does exist. The Tree of The Knowledge of Good and Evil exists as well. This earthly sanctuary is hidden and heavily guarded and it would be a violation of The Requests written before humankind appeared to reveal Its location.
I remain always at your service and Yours,
GHS

The Holy Grail
Beloved Readers,
Again I watched "The Da Vinci Code" on television last night. I was struck with the passion all of the characters in this film had and how alive it made them whether they were villains or heroes.
Also, of course, The Holy Grail, which has had myths, legends and stories built around it since the time of Jesus' death, was central to this film. Perhaps we will never know what The Holy Grail is, but one thing remains true, we all have a personal Holy Grail and it is important to define what it is.
For some, money is the Holy Grail and these individuals will pursue that personal goal with a passion that can be breath-taking. So long as the Holy Grail of money is pursued with integrity, who is to judge whether or not that is an appropriate chalice to seek?
Relationships, fancy cars, top ranking careers, designer clothes, writing books, having triplets - all of these things can become Holy Grails to those who have decided that that is what they desire most in life. Again, so long as no harm is being done to anyone, who is to judge the value of someone's Holy Grail?
Then comes the mysterious, spiritual Holy Grail of knowing a power greater than one self. To have an intimate relationship with Spirit is the Holy Grail to many people. To have a personal revelation of The Divine is a Holy Grail that, again, should not be judged.
And what of the question raised in "The Da Vinci Code"? Was Mary Magdalene the wife of Jesus? Did He entrust to her his Holy Seed, secrets that only He and the Father knew? Was she the Mary that was exorcised of seven demons? Was she the lady of the evening who anointed Jesus' feet with expensive oil? Was she the one who found Jesus tomb empty? Was she Mary of Bethany? We may never know, with certainty, who she was, but we do know that she had a close relationship with Jesus. The nature of that relationship is, in my opinion, none of our business! However, to investigate these mysteries is a Holy grail in and of itself to many.
What matters is that we have a Holy Grail. We need to find what we are passionate about, what we love and will work tirelessly for. Who are we? What do we believe? Do we dare to be authentic? Do we dare to talk about our personal Holy Grail with those that can see and hear?
If the whole concept of the Holy Grail fascinates you, another perspective worthy of investigation is Jay Floyd's film, "Forgiving The Franklins." The Holy Grail in Mr. Floyd's film is far easier to find. Rent it, buy it, but do not miss it!
Find your Holy Grail. Your life will change when you do.
May you be inspired always,
Lois
